Another way to bolster the next generation of CPAs is by sharing your professional experiences directly with students. Please consider volunteering with the VSCPA's CPAs in the Classroom program.

At this time of year, chapter memberships automatically renew for the upcoming program year. Invoices have been posted to member accounts and are due May 1st.

Your CURRENT paid membership covers chapter activities
until 4/30/2025.

Your INVOICED membership fee covers chapter activities
from 5/1/2025 - 4/30/2026.

We are now in that odd membership renewal space where our registration software may not recognize you as a current member if your renewal invoice is not paid. There are a lot of procedural reasons for renewal invoices to be outstanding, especially since they are not due until 5/1/2025.

If you have any trouble registering for the April 22nd session, please email me (michele@ncvscpa.org) and ask to be administratively added as either an in-person or virtual participant. This process will generate the normal automated registration confirmation email.

In conjunction with the chapter's annual meeting on Tuesday, April 22nd, Laura Geller will be providing a framework to dispel any myths while sharing the legal requirements and best practices of estate planning. This will be a hybrid meeting happening over lunch at Maggiano's and online. Register now!

The annual meeting and board member elections will be held Tuesday, April 22nd at Maggaino’s. Anyone interested in volunteering in the chapter leadership needs to contact a current board member ASAP.

On May 15th share in an excellent opportunity for us to come together and reflect on the recently concluded tax season. During this gathering, we'll delve into a comprehensive discussion on the highlights, challenges, and insights gained from the tax season...and have some lunch.
