Northern Chapter VSCPA

Dear Members,

As my term as President of the Northern Chapter of the VSCPA draws to a close, I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude and appreciation for the privilege of serving this incredible community.

Serving as your chapter president has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional life. But more than anything, it has been the people — especially our remarkable volunteers — who made this journey so meaningful. Our chapter’s successes over the past year were not the result of any one person’s effort. They were built on the dedication, time, and passion of an outstanding group of volunteers who gave freely of themselves to ensure our programs, events, and initiatives not only ran smoothly, but also were impactful.

Over the past year we have offered a substantial amount of education hours for our members, exceeding in the value of membership compared to other professional associations.  We strengthened our relationship with the state society and have fostered growth with the neighboring associations.  We reactivated our CPA pipeline for emerging professionals.  The milestones and accomplishments for the past year have been very fulfilling.

While I am stepping down from this role, I am not stepping away from this vibrant community. I look forward to supporting our incoming leadership team and remaining an active participant in our shared mission of excellence in the accounting profession.

With warmest regards,

Moe Sadeghi
